beezelbubbles asked: C, O, and Z.
C - A pairing you have never liked and probably never will
Bill/Sookie. Because I hate Bill with the flaming passion of a thousand burning suns, and while they’re ADORABLE as a real life couple (awww anna and stephen) they suck all the interesting out of each other as characters.
O - Choose a song at random, which OTP does it remind you of
itunes says: ‘I have been changed’, Wicked Soundtrack
OTP: West Wing: leo / Annabeth. (Because Kristen Chenoweth sang it at his funeral excuse me while I go sob every time I think of that fact)
Z - Just ramble about something fan-related, go go go
As much as I love the fact that fandom fills in for the absolute DEARTH of same sex relationships out there, it also makes me sad the way that large chunks of fandom treat relationships in fiction as if they don’t count unless they’re sexual. Don’t get me wrong, I love my shippiness. But friendship is also beautiful in itself. There are a thousand different kinds of love and I wish fandom spent more time on others besides eros. It’s not that I don’t like slash: I don’t want less slash. I want more of other kinds of bonds, that’s all. Which is probably why I invest so heavily in my characters having those different kinds of relationships. Or I try, at least.
